Our L'Oreal Colour Trophy Finalists

We are so excited and really proud of Ashley, Hayleigh and Craig for being shortlisted for the Scottish Backstage Live finals of the prestigious L'Oreal Colour Trophy Award.  They will all take their place among the best stylists in Scotland on Tuesday 5th April in Glasgow's Hilton Hotel in a bid to win the Scottish title and a place in the UK finals to be announced in London this June. 

They will also be joined by Craig who is shortlisted as a Scottish Finalist in the Men's Image Award within the same competition. 

The L'Oreal Colour Trophy is longest running live hairdressing competition in the world and over the years has grown to include various categories including the much sought after L'Oreal Young Colourist, an award previously held by both Ashley and Hayleigh. 

In the first round of both categories, hundreds of photographic images from across the country were judged by the most influential names in hairdressing including the 2012 title holders Sally & Jamie Brooks, leading session stylist & press favourite Adam Reed and hairdressing icon Charles Worthington MBE.  

This next stage of the competition will put the team through their paces as they create live model looks that demonstrates an awareness for Autumn/Winter 2016/17 hair and fashion trends outlined in a detailed brief. The looks must be original, modern and inspirational as the judges are looking for a trend-setting aesthetic that will inspire clients and hairdressers.
